Located in the inner-city suburb of Braddon, ACT, the Midnight Hotel is a 5-star luxury hotel offering 199 guest rooms, restaurant, bar, gym, sauna, indoor pool, meeting and events space. The 183 bathroom pods will feature matt black wall tiles and grey floor tiles, Polytec Ravine Wenge bench tops, LED strip lighting, and mirrored splashbacks.

Challenge:

Sitting on a smaller than average sized site with fast turnaround times required for the bathroom pod construction process, a tiling system with excellent workability and ease of application was needed.

Solution:

ARDEX were able to offer the complete tiling solution consisting of ARDEX X 17 tile adhesive and ARDEX FSDD grout. The 183 architecturally designed bathroom pods were integrated throughout every guest room in the hotel, and simply installed and connected once they arrive on site ensuring project scheduling was met.
