Porcelain pavers are ideal, especially 20mm thick outdoor-grade tiles. They provide the strength needed to span the gaps between pedestals without breaking or flexing.

Things to Consider

Ensure the substrate is waterproofed and properly sloped.
Edge restraint systems are often needed to prevent movement.
Wind uplift in exposed areas can be a factor—talk to the supplier about compliant systems.
