Event Details

In recent years there has been a spotlight aimed at an age-old phenomena which has plagued masonry construction, and that is the development of white deposits on a surface, which is commonly described as ‘efflorescence’.

The development of efflorescence leads to the appearance of unsightly white deposits and marking on stonework, concrete, screeded areas, tiled surfaces along grout lines and at drainage points.

The ARDEX Mitigating Efflorescence Training course includes both hands on and theoretical training to understand why efflorescence occurs, understand the difference between primary and secondary efflorescence and recognize ways to eliminate efflorescence using ARDEX systems.

All attendees must be able to show proof of double COVID-19 vaccination

Builders can also earn up to 4 CPD points by completing this course.

Broad learning area is “Building: Technical Issues”– Efflorescence: external (balconies) or internal (bathrooms).
